BUSINESS ADVISOR - VOLUNTEER

Position Description:

VOICE requires a business volunteer to help us to analyse the market opportunities and develop a business plan for an online training business.

VOICE envisages that the online training business can eventually provide a sustainable income for VOICE and support their core funding needs. This would ease the fundraising pressure of VOICE staff and allow them to focus more energy on making a difference in the lives of marginalised and disempowered people.

VOICE currently has a quality training curriculum ready to deploy but VOICE needs assistance to assess the most efficient and cost-effective approach to: becoming a registered training organisation; converting the training curriculum into a secure, fee-for-access, online format; identifying appropriate markets; deciding on a price-point; accessing markets and marketing the service; and budgeting for the project.

VOICE would greatly appreciate the assistance of someone who is experienced in developing business plans and giving strategic business advice.

Experience in writing business plans Enthusiasm to analyse and assess business opportunity Business-related qualifications desirable

GRAPHIC DESIGNER - VOLUNTEER

Position Description:
VOICE requires the help of a volunteer with graphic design skills to help us to develop visually impressive campaigns to support marginalised and disempowered people. The Graphic Design Volunteer could assist VOICE with a one-off campaign, or could provide us with ongoing assistance to develop powerful visual materials as the need arises.VOICE understands that volunteer time is valuable and VOICE is flexible to work with the volunteer on time management and availability issues.

Graphic design-related qualifications desirable

DIGITAL FILM MAKER - VOLUNTEER

Position Description:
VOICE requires the help of a volunteer Digital Film Maker to help us to develop some short films (1-3 minute long) which promote VOICE as an organisation and which support some of our campaigns. The Digital Film Maker could assist VOICE by producing a one-off film, or could provide us with ongoing assistance to develop powerful short digital films as the need arises. VOICE understands that volunteer time is valuable and VOICE is flexible to work with the volunteer on time management and availability issues.
